The first large pieces for our cellulose mill project in Paso de los Toros arrived at the port of UPM Fray Bentos.

With the arrival of the BBC Mississippi ship from Finland, we consider this new stage to have been inaugurated with a total of 340 tons of materials and 20 hours of work during the unloading operation.

The transfer, which will be starting in the following days, will have a total duration of between two and three days, leaving Fray Bentos mill and arriving at the new mill in Durazno.

Without any doubt, this is a huge project that requires the implementation of high-standard security and coordination between various companies, contratists, teams and authorities for its execution to be a success.
